Artifact Donations

The Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre would be happy to accept your artifact donation.  It is our goal to collect, preserve, refurbish, research, exhibit, and interpret artifact(s) and archival material that best serve to illustrate the history of electrical evolution and development in Manitoba.  We also consider an artefact’s use, its impact upon lives, and additional environmental and electrical safety considerations.

The Museum will accept only those artifacts that it can properly document, preserve, store, refurbish or use to refurbish other artifacts. Thus, not all donated artifacts and materials will be accepted and accessioned into

our collection.

If you would like to donate please contact

Gabriel Winestock at 204-360-7901 or

Gabrielw@electricalmuseum.ca

After your donation has been accepted, please print and fill out the donation form below and bring it with you when you drop off the artifacts.

Artifact donations will be acknowledged with official documentation.  The museum retains full ownership and unrestricted use of artefacts. Cash donations will be given a charitable income tax receipt, as per CRA regulation.

Thank you for considering the Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre a worthy recipient of your donation. Your donation will contribute to the future of this museum.
